Solar Energy!

Solar energy has a positive impact on the environment. By not emitting greenhouse gasses, it does not contribute to global warming. By utilizing solar power, we reduce our reliance on energy produced from fossil fuels, thereby decreasing CO2 emissions and lowering our carbon footprint.

Electrify Everett aims to educate you on the different ways to purchase solar energy and choose the one best for you. There are three primary methods for obtaining solar energy:

  • Cash Purchase: If you have sufficient cash available, you can take advantage of various incentives to lower your costs. Generally, paying in cash offers the best long-term savings.
  • Solar Loan: This is an excellent option for those who do not have enough cash to pay for the system upfront. Some loans require no down payment, allowing you to benefit from ownership of the equipment.
  • Solar Lease or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): This option is ideal for residents who want to minimize upfront costs and prefer someone else to handle maintenance and monitoring of the solar panel. With a lease or PPA, you do not own the panels on your roof and will not receive ownership benefits.
Please check the Energysage Solar Calculator to estimate the cost, and evaluate which one would be the best for you.
