Mayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce that the City of Everett will be holding free basketball clinics for Everetts youth. The clinics are held from 12PM-3PM on Saturdays at the Everett Recreation Center and are for both boys and girls in grades 4-8. So come on down!
These clinics are quality, high-intensity, drill based camps that focus on not only bettering a player’s skill set on the court, but also building character and confidence off the court. These camps will strengthen the athletes mentality while boosting their confidence to become more aggressive and skilled players.
The Mayor and his administration have emphasized the importance of youth gaining benefits from participation in physical activity. The Mayor stated, “We want to offer year- round sports and fun for kids of all ages and skill levels to help gain confidence, build relationships, and understand sportsmanship and teamwork.”
