April 28, 2018, All Day
On Saturday, April 28th from 10am-2pm The City of Everett will again be sponsoring a National Drug Take Back initiative with the Everett Police Department
Beginning Saturday, Everett residents will be able to drop off any unused or expired medications, with the exception of liquids, for safe disposal at the Everett Police Station. In addition to the 28th, The Everett Police Department drop off box will be available year round 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and there is also a drop box located at the Everett health department on the 2nd floor of City hall, which is accessible year round during City Hall business hours.
This is part of national effort to take back prescription drugs.
Take back days aim to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. For additional information you may contact the Everett Police Dept at 617-389-2120 or Health Dept. at 617-394-2
