The Zion Church Ministries is pleased to invite you to attend the 15th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast, which will be held at the Edward G. Connolly Center, located at 90 Chelsea St. This event will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
Ticket Donations are $20 and a table for 10 is only $150.00 During the breakfast, we will award scholarships to worthy student recipients, and in addition to the Scholarship awards, we will also award the Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Recognition Award to a citizen of Everett for their contribution to the community-at-large.

The Everett Health Department will hold flu clinics throughout the month of January.
These clinics are open to all Everett residents ages 3 and up and are free of charge.
No appointment is necessary, but we do require that you bring your Health Insurance and or Medicare cards, as we are able to be reimbursed for administration of the Vaccine.
Please remember to wear a short-sleeve shirt.
Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
The seasonal vaccine this year includes protection against the seasonal and H1N1 virus strains and we also offer the traditional flu shot as well as the high dose flue vaccine.
The high dose flue vaccine is available for people age 65 or older.

Stephen Kinzer is an award-winning author and foreign correspondent who has covered more than 50 countries on five continents. His articles and books have led the Washington Post to place him “among the best in popular foreign policy storytelling.” He was Latin America correspondent for The Boston Globe, and then spent more than 20 years working for the New York Times, with extended postings in Nicaragua, Germany, and Turkey. He is a senior fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University. His most recent book is “The True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the Birth of American Empire.”
