  • Among its multitude of responsibilities, the City Services Department maintains the Citys' streets, sidewalks, and traffic systems for the protection of the public's safety. It maintains all city parks, playgrounds, and street trees, as well as Glenwood Cemetery and public buildings so as to improve the quality of life for all the citizens of Everett. The department oversees the proper collection and disposal of solid waste as well as the recycling of various materials.

  • MAYOR TO UNVEIL NEW TRASH AND RECYCLING PROGRAM AT JANUARY 25TH PUBLIC MEETING - Mayor Carlo DeMaria Jr. is inviting all residents and business owners to a public meeting next Wednesday, January 25th at 6:00 PM in the Speaker George Keverian Room, City Hall, 484 Broadway. (read more)
  • CONSTRUCTION, TESTING AND PLANNING CONTINUES ON THREE PROJECTS - Three major projects continue to move forward this summer, as the construction season in Everett continues. (read more)
  • SIDEWALK CREWS BEGIN ANNUAL REPAIR – RESIDENTS CAN HELP - Email a picture or call in an address of sidewalk that needs to be fixed. Mayor Carlo DeMaria Jr. and Everett City Services are again out in the neighborhoods fixing sidewalks. The Mayor along with City Services Director Brian Zaniboni began using City Services Personnel three years ago to repair sidewalk panels along a number of the city’s streets. This year, the Mayor wants to increase the production, seeing as sidewalk crews can typically repair a damaged sidewalk in a matter of days, with little disruption to the neighborhoods. (read more)
