5K Walk for Ersilia

The Kiwanis Club of Everett, in collaboration with The City of Everett and Carmine, Amata and Giuseppe Matarazzo and the Cataldo family, is conducting a 5K Walk in honor of our beloved member and Vice President, the late Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo. Our aim is to raise awareness to the problem of domestic violence and the resulting devastating consequences, especially for women and families. All proceeds from the Walk will go directly to the Ersilia Cataldo Matarazzo Memorial Fund by Everett Kiwanis, a 501(c)(3) public charity. This fund will support victims advocacy programs that provide comprehensive services to people in our community whose lives have been directly impacted by domestic violence. Two such programs are the award winning Portal To Hope and Everett's model program recognized by the United States Conference of Mayors, Everett Victim Advocacy Program.(EVAP) This Fund will also endow a scholarship in Ersilia's name for Everett students with demonstrated community service and a concentration in Social Work
