The Parlin Memorial Library is celebrating February vacation with a week of special STEM programming.
All week, the Library will be hosting movies and events aimed at stimulating exploration and experimentation. On Tuesday, February 20, we will be showing Flubber, the Robin Williams comedy about a nutty professor. On Wednesday, February 21, there will be a science story time, complete with experimentation stations and a fun story. On Thursday, February 22, the library is proud to welcome back Michael Koski of the Magic of Science! Mr. Koski makes science fun and magic accessible in this rowdy demonstration. This program includes plenty of science facts and audience participation. Finally, on Saturday, February 24, we will round the week out with a screening of the movie Big Hero 6. All programs begin at 2 pm, and are open to all ages. There is no registration required, and all library programs are free to the public. Please call the Library at (617) 394-2306 for more information.
