Even though the Parlin Memorial will be closed for some long awaited upgrades, there is still a lot going on!
Acclaimed children’s book author, Malden’s own Lesa Cline Ransome will be joining us for a visit and book signing on Thursday, February 16 at 12:45. Lesa will be talking about her journey to writing and her writing process. She will be sharing her favorites, featuring Words Set Me Free: The Story of Young Frederick Douglass illustrated by her equally talented husband, James Ransome just in time for Black History Month! Books will be available for purchase. Space is extremely limited. To find out more about Lesa and James visit their website; http://lesaclineransome.com/
