Parlin Memorial Library Welcomes Lesa Cline Ransome

Even though the Parlin Memorial will be closed for some long awaited upgrades, there is still a lot going on!

Acclaimed children’s book author, Malden’s own Lesa Cline Ransome will be joining us for a visit and book signing on Thursday, February 16 at 12:45. Lesa will be talking about her journey to writing and her writing process. She will be sharing her favorites, featuring Words Set Me Free: The Story of Young Frederick Douglass illustrated by her equally talented husband, James Ransome just in time for Black History Month! This program is appropriate for people aged 8 and up. Please register by calling 617-394-2302. Parlin Memorial Library is located at 410 Broadway Everett, MA 02149

The library will be closed. Registrants should use the entrance on the lower lever, located on the park side facing the fire station.
