City of Everett Honors John Hanlon's 50 Years of Service

Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett honored former Mayor, John Hanlon yesterday night. Councilor Hanlon was honored with a plaque for all his years of work and accomplishments in the City of Everett.

Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the City of Everett honored former Mayor, John Hanlon yesterday night. Councilor Hanlon was honored with a plaque for all his years of work and accomplishments in the City of Everett.   Hanlon has served for almost five decades: he has served as a member of the Board of Aldermen and City Clerk. Currently, he is a member of the City Council.  Hanlon has worked for the City of Everett for 50 years and he continues to help and serve the people of Everett to this day; he has been active in many civic organizations throughout his public career.

Mayor Carlo DeMaria has appreciated Hanlon’s work ethic and advice throughout his own time as Mayor.  DeMaria stated, “John has always given solid and truthful advice whenever his input was asked of or needed. He’s someone that has knowledge and experience dealing with certain issues within the city.
